The University of Central Florida Engineering Building III is a four-story building, 29,750 SF on floor each that features two 360-degree theaters, classrooms, and over 30 laboratories including specialized simulation and virtual computer and research laboratories. This project was awarded by the American Institute of Architects Florida Chapter – Design Award of Excellence due to the innovation due to these innovations and the fact that the building places a premium on natural light.
