New Facility Construction

The Pleasantdale Elementary School Replacement is a 118,911 SF new construction prototype three-story elementary school building for DeKalb County School District designed by CGLS Architects. The project included 56 Kindergarten through 5th-grade classrooms, specialty science laboratory classrooms, gym, kitchen, cafetorium, media center, an administration wing, and a learning courtyard/amphitheater. The project included a complete site development package as well as the demolition of the existing Pleasantdale Elementary School for the construction of the new playfields and playground area.
