Blue Ridge Mountain EMC

Inspired by its location, the new 49-acre, 164,200 SF campus expresses the character of the North Georgia Mountains. In addition to the stone and timber offices, the facility features a data center, call center, warehouse and materials handling facilities, truck storage, truck maintenance, and a fueling station. The data center was built to support the EMC operations in addition to colocation space for regional internet providers. Sustainability was a key consideration in the design and construction of the facility which features a rainwater harvesting system used for plumbing, irrigation, and a geothermal HVAC system.
