EVERGREEN Construction mobilizes at the new HYATT house site in Downtown Atlanta

The latest hotel to be built near the Georgia Aquarium is underway.

Located at the corner of Luckie Street and Ivan Allen Boulevard, the latest addition to the Hyatt family, a new HYATT house will be opening in 2015.  The 7-story, 150-room hotel is jointly developed by TPG Hospitality and Ameripark, the Atlanta-based, national parking and valet company.  In addition to an expansive dining area, studio rooms and suites, amenities include a pool, living room like lounge area and fitness center.

The HYATT house at Cumberland project, also constructed by Evergreen, was the first ground-up construction of Hyatt’s newest flag, HYATT house, a unique lodging concept that feels more like extended stay or apartment living rather than a hotel.  The success of that project, which opened in April 2013, brought Evergreen this exciting new opportunity in downtown Atlanta, near the Georgia Aquarium.  Demolition is underway with construction commencing right afterward.
